Welcome to the webpage of the Sickle Cell Foundation of Central Florida. We are a nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping kids and their families who live with Sickle Cell Anemia. This foundation is in dedication to John Alexander Sanchez, a beloved Sickle Cell warrior who ended his battle with the disease in May of 2024.

It is our mission to create joyful memories for children living with Sickle Cell Anemia and their families by providing trips to central Florida to visit the major theme parks with all expenses paid for through the foundation.
We serve children ages 7-22 that battle with Sickle Cell Anemia and their immediate family members as well.
Our foundation relies on the help from the community and their businesses through financial donations. Our annual goal that we aim to reach is $1 million. We use these donations to bring kids with Sickle Cell and their families trips to Orlando, Florida to visit major theme parks, such as Disney and Universal. We also use the donations to give out gifts in case of a child not being able to travel. We aim to provide these trips monthly.
